Who We Are...

Eric Eiesland, President

Eric Eiesland is president and owner of E3 Consulting Services, a marketing, communications, website development and website promotion company based in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Prior to founding E3 Consulting Services in 1999, Eric was president & CEO of the Grand Rapids (MN) Area Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as president & CEO of the Detroit Lakes (MN) Regional Chamber of Commerce and as publicist for the Myrtle Beach (SC) Area Chamber of Commerce. In Myrtle Beach Eric received a Communications Award of Excellence for the Best Tourism Campaign in America from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Communications Council.

Eric has worked in the communications, printing, and customer service fields in addition to his chamber of commerce service. He began his career in public relations and journalism as a public affairs specialist and newspaper editor for Myrtle Beach Air Force Base while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Eric has served on numerous boards and committees. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Itasca County Resort & Tourism Association and the Northern Lights Tourism Alliance. He is a member of the Minnesota Arrowhead Association and a past president of the Minnesota Heartland Tourism Association. Eric has served on the Minnesota Tourism Promotion Coalition and Minnesota’s State Tourism Advisory Council.

Eric takes great pride in developing long-term relationships with his clients. Even when hired on a single project basis, Eric invests both time and effort in getting to know the client’s business and the people that make it work.

Steve Casselman, Account Manager

Steve Casselman is account manager for E3 Consulting Services and has overall responsibility for bringing new clients on board.

Steve and his wife Dani, own and operate Lakewood Lodge in Deer River, a nine-cabin family resort located on Sand Lake. Before moving to Minnesota four years ago, Steve was General Manager of Parts for Omaha Truck Center, an authorized Freightliner dealer. Steve had primary responsibility for the tri-state area of Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa in point of sale, print and internet marketing; major account fleet sales; salesforce and management training; inventory control; and human resources management of more than 100 employees. Steve also served as Vice President of an aftermarket parts global distribution company, T&M Distribution. His area of responsibility was purchasing, sales and marketing.

Steve is Marketing Committee Chair of the Visions North Lodging Association, the Vice President of the Sand Lake Association and a Board Member and Legislative Affairs Committee Chairman of the Itasca County Resort & Tourism Association. He is an active member of the Itasca County Tourism Development Alliance, focusing on zoning issues that affect the resort and tourism industry.

Charish Hamlin, Marketing Assistant

Charish Hamlin is a marketing assistant at E3 Consulting Services. Charish manages the majority of client website updates and handles certain web marketing services. She is our primary digital photography editor and performs copywriting and editing tasks. Charish also coordinates various special projects.

Prior to joining E3 Consulting Services, Charish worked in the health care industry for several years as a nursing assistant and personal care attendant, providing respite care and home health services.

Kim Jamtgaard, Marketing Assistant

Kim Jamtgaard is a senior marketing assistant at E3 Consulting Services. Kim works directly with clients to develop and maintain their websites. From site design to html programming, copywriting to digital photographic editing, and forms creation to navigation system creation, Kim handles it all, professionally and cordially.

Kim and husband Jay own and operate Wildwood Resort in Cohasset; a 10-cabin family resort located on Bass Lake. Before purchasing the resort six years ago, Kim worked as assistant human resources manager for Ag-Chem Equipment Company in Jackson, Minnesota. She and Jay also managed the Pizza Ranch Restaurant in Jackson.

Kim is a member of the Board of Directors for the Itasca County Resort & Tourism Association; and she is publisher for the Bass Lake Association. Kim chairs the Itasca County Tourism Development Alliance, focusing on zoning issues that affect the resort and tourism industry.
